While the COVID-19 pandemic has moved us indoors for an extended period of time, for our Westfield Matildas and Socceroos they have found creative ways to adapt and play by the new rules.
Finding different avenues to stay active and stay connected during this COVID-19 period has been a vital part of sustaining physical, emotional and mental health.
Westfield Matildas defender and Melbourne City captain Steph Catley and FFA and Socceroos High Performance co-ordinator Andrew Clark joined Australian Red Cross’ The COVID Collective to share insights on how our top athletes are maintaining their fitness and a sense of team spirit.
Presented by Francis Leach from the ABC, the series looks at a range of topics, from better understanding and regulating the range of emotions we are feeling around the pandemic, to First Nations’ perspectives of community, connection and culture.
