Sydney FC to host Mariners in first FFA Cup 2021 Semi Final next Tuesday

The first Semi Final of the FFA Cup 2021 will be played at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium in Kogarah next Tuesday, 18 January 2022.

Sydney FC, who won through to the Semi Finals for a fourth time courtesy of a 1-0 victory over Brisbane Roar FC last night, will host New South Wales rivals Central Coast Mariners FC in the clash.

The Mariners qualified for the Semi Finals prior to Christmas, securing a dominate 6-0 victory over National Premier Leagues (NPL) New South Wales opposition APIA Leichhardt FC in their Quarter Final encounter.

Tuesday’s Semi Final will kick-off at 7pm AEDT, with the match to be broadcast exclusively live across Australia on 10 Play.

Match details regarding the second Semi Final, to be contested between Melbourne Victory FC and Wellington Phoenix FC, will be announced in due course.

As well as being broadcast in Australia via 10 Play, the two Semi Finals of the FFA Cup 2021 will be available to a significant international audience. The games will be broadcast in over 30 international territories, with a potential reach of 50 million households via various international media rights agreements.

BeIn Sport, CSM/KBALL, MyTV Super, and VIEON each own rights in Asian territories, while BT Sports will broadcast the fixtures in the United Kingdom.

ESPN+ will share the Semi Final matches to audiences in the Americas, while Sport 24 own the rights for in-ship/in-flight consumers. Markets without access to an official rights holder can also view the game for free via the My Football YouTube Channel.
